1. Warranty
Sibley Catering Equipment do not provide a separate warranty to the manufacturers or suppliers
Note: Equipment used in a commercial application is of a heavier duty construction to with stand consistent use. Non commercial design equipment used in a commercial application will void their warranty.
We only supply equipment from reputable suppliers who offer a warranty. The warranty period does vary from supplier to supplier.
There is an old saying “you get the quality you pay for.” Equipment that has a long warranty is most likely of better quality.
If you believe you have a problem with the equipment you purchased from us you are welcome to contact us but do the following checks before contacting us.
Check before you contact us
- Have you followed suppliers instruction on installations by reading the operating manual in order to gain an understanding of the operation and capabilities of the equipment you have purchased
- You have operated the equipment for what it was designed
- Have you followed suppliers instruction on the operation of the equipment and have all staff who use the equipment been informed
- As a user of the equipment a maintenance schedule should be set up and available to all staff particularly in high volume kitchens
- Have you made all the connections as advised. Double check the supply source is working.
- If the equipment has been working for some time has the maintenance been carried out as instructed
- Review the suppliers Warranty details to see that the equipment is still within the warranty period
- Note: Glass fixtures or fittings (including bulbs) are not generally covered by warranty by any manufacturer. So check before you accept ownership.
ONLY when the above checks are completed then contact the supplier direct or contact Sibley
We and the supplier will require proof of purchase with the invoice and the date of purchase.

2. Legal
Equipment used in a commercial application needs to be designed and made for that purpose.
If an item purchased from Sibley Catering Equipment does not stand up to normal use of that the item was intended within a reasonable time frame please discuss the issue with us.
Note: There is no guarantee on glassware or crockery once you have accepted delivery.
With any dispute we will require the invoice and the date of purchase.
We treat all our suppliers and customers with respect and try to be fair with any dispute.
