The stemware of the Modern America collection has the signature of American designer Edwin W. Fuerst who created entirely hand-crafted glasses towards the end of the Art Deco period.
The design reflects back to some of New York’s archetypal architecture like the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings.
The graceful curved bowls complement the tall stems with a strong base.
These beautiful glasses can live up to the fast pace of today’s hospitality environment.
Made from Libbey’s DuraTuff treated glassware, designed to strengthen the upper portion of the glass, increasing its resistance to thermal and mechanical shock.
The ONIS Xtratuff treatment is applied to the upper half of the glass, adding toughness, durability and resistance to breakages. This process also reduces wear and tear of stackable glasses, helping to meet the highest professional standards in glassware.
